All aboard!
The loop
The Tro-Vélo®1 is 25 km long, and can easily be done as a full-day or half-day tour, depending on what you want to do and how many breaks (which can be quite a few!) you want to take along the way. We particularly appreciate the flatness of this walk, especially for shorter legs. It's a rather quiet loop, even if you share the road with cars.
Tip: As most of the loop is on shared lanes, we recommend it for children who know how to ride in this type of environment. If they are too small, a trailer or baby seat is strongly recommended.
Bike rental
If you've accidentally left your bike and adapted seats at home, it's still possible to rent them on the Côte des Légendes!
13 audio steps!
Fun bike ride
The Tro-Vélo®1 is accompanied by an audioguide! In French or Breton, you can download the tracks and use the map to pinpoint the locations where you can listen to them!
The wonders of granite chaos
Now that we've got the route marked out, it's time to get going! Get on the bike and in just a few turns of the wheel, you're off from the calm, sandy bay of Goulven to the granite chaos. This loop allows you to admire all its charms and mysteries... Whether the tide is high or low, these huge boulders lying right on the sand are always a source of amazement for young and old alike!
Camille's testimonial
Whether you want to put the bike down and go climbing on the rocks, get your feet wet in the water, or simply enjoy the beach and the scenery, there's something for everyone!
A historical and heritage loop
The interest of this loop also lies in its heritage. If you ever get tired of pebbles (although we never do!), the Tro-Vélo®1 is above all a detour to all the major sites along the coast! The Men Marz menhir, the Pontusval lighthouse, the Pol chapel, the Saint-Égarec chapel, or one of Finistère's smallest chapels, the Croazou chapel... not to mention the typical little villages you'll pass through.
Life-size story(s)
Visit the Meneham website
If there's one spot you don't want to miss, it's Meneham! A former village of fishermen and golfer, the little hamlet has now become an eco-museum that comes alive with year-round activities. Take a well-deserved break at the bistro and visit the museum areas, where you'll learn a lot about Pagan country and its inhabitants!
