Harvesting seaweed

SO, ARE THEY BITING?

Seaside fishing

or surfcasting

Shellfish and seaweed are nice, but do you want pollack or sea bass? The Côte des Légendes is yours for the taking... All you have to do is choose: climb the rocks in "roving fisherman" mode, or set down your equipment for a surfcasting session on one of the beaches.

Here, you don't need a fishing licence. Nevertheless, a good understanding of your fishing spot and the weather forecasts (tide times, winds, swell...) is essential for a successful outing... and to avoid finding yourself in an unfortunate position! We also invite you to keep abreast of current regulations.

Equipment

Fishing tackle

You're itching to go fishing on foot or by the sea, but you don't have a fishing rod or landing net, let alone rakes!

Fortunately, on the Côte des Légendes we have professionals who can advise you.

EMBARKING!

Sea fishing

Côte des Légendes has no fishing harbours as such, but rather anchorages. There are still a few professional fishermen, but there are very few of them on the Côte des Légendes. Fishing is more common in the Abers, Iroise and Côte des Sables regions.

Fancy leaving the coast to fish in the open sea? The Abers launches can accompany you on this adventure. All you have to do is let your captain guide you, and you're sure to have a great time!
