A warm and unique experience in Meneham during the Christmas season is the opportunity to stroll between the thatched cottages with their beautiful lights and the small chalets of the Christmas Market, to find local artisanal and gourmet wonders to put under the tree.
There's plenty of entertainment too, with magical shows like "Bigouden Light", Breton games, a fun mini-wheel and a horse-drawn carriage ride along the coast!

The shipwrecking brigands
Each year, Christmas at Meneham focuses on a particular theme. 2023 will be dedicated to earth, an element that represents solidity, continuity and sensation!
Metal artist and sculptor Anthony Boëffard has created an ephemeral, illuminated work of art in glass and steel. His inspiration came from the legend of the shipwreckers, in which giant crystals mysteriously reappeared this winter, after having disappeared during a stormy night. They had been stolen by shipwrecking brothers on the Meneham shore...
Practical info :
The artist will be in residence from December 4 to 8 to create the work on site, after which it will be on view from December 9, 2023 to January 7, 2024. Inauguration on Saturday December 16 at 11am, in the presence of the artist!
For the occasion, Compagnie Sumak has created a short show based on the work, which will take place on December 16 from 11am to 5pm (6 performances of 15-20 min).

Christmas in Lesneven
For the festive season, Lesneven is decked out in lights. Literally, because the Rue du Général de Gaulle is decked out in lights!
In its historic heart, it's as if all the shopkeepers were playing at having the most beautiful window display. The result: a magnificent town where you'll want to do all your Christmas shopping! As a bonus this year, they're organizing an advent calendar.
The magic will continue with the new Christmas Village on the Esplanade de la Mairie, on the weekends of December 15 to 17 and 22 to 24, with numerous chalets offering quality crafts, delicacies and souvenirs!
There will also be a wide range of events to suit all tastes, including La Grande Parade lumineuse as part of the Fabrique d'Imaginaire, magical concerts and shows, and fun activities for children.
